Tournament Registration FAQs
Q: Who can join the tournament?
A: Any faction can join, but slots are capped at 8 factions only. Each faction must field 1 player with 5 unique Umas (one Uma per race).
Q: How do the races work?
A: The tournament features 5 maps in one day. Conditions (weather and ground) will be randomized. Points are awarded by placement, and later races use point multipliers for added stakes.
Q: Can I use the same Uma twice?
A: No. Once an Uma variant has been used in a race, it cannot be used again. Different versions of the same character (e.g., Tokai Teio – Peak Joy vs. Tokai Teio – Beyond the Horizon) are allowed.
Q: How are winners decided?
A: Total points across all 5 races determine the champion. If there’s a tie, the faction with the highest single-race finish wins.
Q: What happens if someone griefs the race?
A: Griefing is strictly prohibited. Deliberately entering weak or troll builds (e.g., a Haru Urara with F-rank stats in the wrong role) to disrupt others will lead to disqualification.
Q: Is this a one-day event?
A: Yes. All races take place on the same day in a fast-paced, 4–5 hour schedule.
Q: Where can I watch the tournament?
A: The event will be streamed live on Official Rise Valiants Twitch and/or Rise Valiants Partners. Factions and fans can also follow updates on our Discord.
